West Acre Lodge is available to book for exclusive use only, requiring a minimum booking of eight rooms. We have a wonderful alternative for individual bookings. Our sister property, The Carpenters Arms, is located just a mile down the road and offers a chance to experience the stunning surroundings of the area.

You can either allocate rooms for you and your guests yourselves using the plan online or via a site visit. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can handle the room allocation for you.
Absolutely! The Spinney, one of our guest rooms, features an interconnecting room with a small sitting area and a kitchen, making it perfect for families with young children. Additionally, our Rievaulx guest room has a double sofa bed, and we have a travel cot onsite along with an extra bed available upon request.
All of our guest rooms, with the exception of the Jervaulx room, feature Super King beds, ensuring a comfortable and luxurious stay.
Certainly. Both our Gisborough and Newburgh rooms can be configured as twin rooms if desired.
Each of our guest rooms is furnished with Hypnos beds, renowned for their exceptional comfort. We provide high-quality feather bedding, but if you have allergies, please inform us in advance, and we’ll arrange hypo-allergenic duvets and pillows for your stay.
Yes, The Boot Room is equipped with a washing machine, and there is also a heated wardrobe that is perfect for drying damp clothes.
Absolutely. We are dog-friendly establishment and warmly welcome dogs to stay at West Acre Lodge. We provide bowls and plush beds for their comfort throughout the stay. We kindly ask that dogs refrain from going on the furniture. Please note that there is a charge of £20 per dog, per night.
We certainly do. We work closely with you to create a menu that suits both you and your guests, taking into account any dietary restrictions or preferences.
At West Acre Lodge, we aim to provide an all-inclusive environment, allowing you and yours to fully enjoy the luxury and relaxation of your stay. Therefore, we do not allow self-catering. Instead, we provide your own private chef, who will create delicious dishes using the finest ingredients throughout your visit. Just let us know your requirements ahead of your stay, and we will collaborate with you to create a magical and unique experience.
Absolutely. We offer sample menus which can be adapted or used as inspiration. If you have specific meal preferences or dining options in mind, we would be delighted to accommodate your requests. Simply let us know, and our talented team of chefs will create a personalised menu and dining experience just for you.
We have a selection of wine and drinks available for you to choose from to ensure your gathering is well-hydrated. If you have specific drink preferences that are not on our list, we can work with our suppliers to accommodate your needs. Just let us know your preferences. We kindly ask that drinks are pre-ordered in advance to ensure you have enough for your entire stay.
Yes, for bottles of wine, prosecco, and Champagne, corkage is charged at £20 per bottle of wine and £30 per bottle of prosecco/Champagne. If the bottle’s value exceeds £200.00, a corkage charge of 10% of the sales value applies.
We’re sorry, but we do not allow stags and hen parties at West Acre Lodge.
While we do not have a wedding license for legal ceremonies, we are more than happy to host non-legal wedding ceremonies and receptions. Felixkirk Church, located less than a mile down the road is available for legal ceremonies. Additionally, Thirsk Registry Office, just three miles away, is another option for legal ceremonies.
